Christopher Quirk

Chris is the online editor of the Gilroy Dispatch, Hollister Free Lance and Morgan Hill Times. When not typing away at a computer or behind a video camera, he can be found in the mountains behind Gavilan College or on the levee with his 5-year-old golden retriever Jessie. Bred with aspirations of being Best in Show (her uncle won many across the country), Jessie was turned out of her kennel at nine months when her teeth came in and her breeders found out she had and underbite (dental work is strictly prohibited in competition). This didn’t matter to Chris, who happened upon her about two years ago and has had a happy running partner ever since.
